The sun goes down in Tokyo

If you want to see the city Tokyo from above, but do not want to pay something to get above like a Tokyo Tower or on Tokyo Skytree, then your option is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building has a height of 243 meters. If you enter the building, go to the elevators - there's an extra eleveator which only goes to floor 45, which is free of charge!

You can look out of the windows and see the beautiful city Tokyo. There are even gift stores and Cafes! So amazing, I wish I had more time to spend there.

Unfortunately, there were some clouds at the horizon, orherwise I could have spotted Mt. Fuji!

Real life Hogwarts! - Universal Studio Japan

The name "Universal Studio" is well known by everybody. If you read my previous blog posts, you know that there is also one located in Ōsaka, Japan.

Japan is the country of Anime & Manga, that's why they got plenty of Anime parts in their Universal Studio Park. Like Evangelion Neon Genesis & Attack on Titan!

BUT! They have a Harry Potter section in the park, which you can enter after paying a little extra fee. It's totally worth it! Cause they got the Hogwarts castle and guess what's inside?

A 4D roller coaster/cinema! So you sit in a cinema chair 4D roller coaster, looking at a 3D screen and this machine even changes rooms! You got the perspective of harry potter flying through Hogwarts. It seems so real that you forget everything around yourself and really feel like beeing inside!

Tokyo SkytreeThe number 2 highest building in the world!

Have you ever heard of the Tokyo Skytree? It is the second highest building in the whole world (634m)! (Number 1 is Burj Khalifa in Dubai - 829,8m)

If you'll ever have the chance to visit Tokyo, i highly recommend you to go to the Tokyo Skytree.
I went there at night, I've never seen something that beautiful with my eyes. You can see the biggest city in the world shining brighter than the stars. Until horizon, everything you see is city lights. The view is breathtaking and really worth it!

There are 2 observatory platforms that you can visit. If you pay a little extra fee, you can go to the 2nd plate (350 m) which is a little higher than the main plate (450 m). I did it of course and took a photo there. Check out below ;)

Btw. I think that was the coolest elevator in the world! The speed is 600 meters per minute, so you're on the top in only 50 seconds & there is a window where you can look outside of during the transport. So damn cool Japan!

Attack On Titan Life Sized Figures!! USJ

If you are an anime fan, you might know AOT Attack on Titan 進撃の巨人(Shingeki No Kyojin). It is a very popular anime from Japan (btw it's one of my favorites).

There is an Universal Studios Japan based in Osaka, I went there together with my letter friend. I could not wait to get there, cause a knew there is a Attack On Titan section in the theme park!

look at those figures:

Me and my letter friend also took a photo by chance ( In the beginning of the Anime/Manga, the mother of the protagonist Eren Jaeger gets eaten by a Titan) In the park you can get a photo by being eaten from the same titan!

Crêpes in Harajuku, Tokyo

Before I went to Japan, I knew exactly about Harajuku. Harajuku is a district in Tokyo, where the fashion of Tokyo got famous. As you may know, the Japanese are crazy, maybe you've seen some pictures where they walk around like aliens. But it's actually a kind of fashion. In Harajuku, there is the Takeshita Doori (Street). If you want to see one of those aliens, go there!

Not even aliens, there are a lot of pretty cool stores! If you wanna wear something in your home country, no other one has, go shopping in Takeshita Doori.

You will also find a Daiso store there. Daiso is a ¥ 100 (about $ 1 / 1) store chain in Japan. This is such a cool store
! You can find like anything there for just a 100 YEN. Like kitchen utensils, candy, food, cosmetics, make up like really anything guys! It's the best store to bring home some souvenirs for you friends & family.

There's a famous Crèperie in this street, called Santa Monica. There are so many different, crazy flavors available. I chose Matcha Green Tea Cheese Cake! What about you?

Me in Japan

Konnichi'ha, minna san!

I've finally been to Japan, actually it's been a while ago (April 2015). But I'll go again, in September 2017 and stay there for 7 months!

On the picture below you see me in a Kimono ^-^

I went to Kyoto to visit my letter friend, and we went to a Kimono house together. We could rent a kimono there, you could even get your hair done! Then we visited Kyoto and some temples, drove a Rikscha and just enjoyed the culture of Japan!
